Because of the intricacy of the design, it's difficult to make the automail completely customized for each individual. However, since the materials are fairly flexible, the sizes should be pretty standard. For example, the first automail I made was for my friend Kate, who is 5'1", however it also fits me OK (just a little short, but not too noticeable), and I'm 5'9".
There are 2 size options available, and there are a limited number of each. Be sure to order ASAP so you can get the size you need ^__^
To measure, measure from the tip of your middle finger to the place where your wrist bends (on the back of the hand).
Small – 5.5" - 6.5" (inches)
Large – 6.5" - 7.5" (inches)
This is a prop item only. It is not waterproof. It will bend or tear if too much weight or pressure is put on it. For more information about the materials used and the durability of the automail, see construction information below.
NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS.
All payments must be received via Paypal prior to shipping.
Shipping disclaimer: I'm shipping this at the cheapest option available, so I can't guarantee when you'll get it by. Also, it doesn't include insurance or anything like that. If you need it sooner, let me know and I can quote you a price. (I'll warn you that the faster shipping rates get pretty pricey though)
The hand is a cotton glove with craft foam and clay attachments secured with glue.
It is very flexible and has good movement, however your hand movements will be somewhat limited while wearing it. For example, you can't really make a tight fist with it without risk of tearing the foam. You also wouldn't want to hang from something with it, or carry a heavy bag. You can however do stuff like hold a fork, hold a cup, put on a t-shirt, etc.
**All hands are the RIGHT hand only. (that's the one that Ed's automail arm is)**
The forearm is the part from the wrist to the elbow. The forearm consists of 2 parts, which attach together with Velcro. It's also made of craft foam with a few clay embellishments. The Velcro is secured on the inside with glue and duct tape.
