I saw the new FMA movie last night!! it was SOOO GOOOD! I was extremely impressed. the animation, story, and characters were so wonderful. you must go see it if you haven't already!

it was everything I love about FMA all rolled into one wicked awesome movie. so good.

so, here's a picture of the Elric brothers in commemoration of the new movie (: I drew it while waiting to go to the theater. as usual, I tried out some new coloring styles on this one. I really enjoy drawing Alphonse. and Ed's automail. I guess I like drawing mecha-ish stuff huh?

I recently saw the movie too, at some tiny indie theatre in manhattan. It was so good! Quite violent tho

Yeah it was funny~ it was kid of like no one expected it from an "animated movie" but than everyone was like oh shiiiitttt.....
but yeah, still fantastic. They just didnt hold back because the world isnt all gumdrops and flowers

haha yeah exactly! xD my other favorite reaction, was the one scene where Hawkeye shot that one guy... do know which part I mean? at my theater, the entire theater burst out into cheering, over one tiny little thing. she got even a bigger cheer than when Ed or Mustang first appeared, which I found hilarious. xD

Yeah yeah yeah!!!! And everyone laughed like crazy at all of Ed's jokes XD
Ed is so cute in his forst appearance! He's drooling on the desk!
And I think the best joke when everyone laughed the hardest is when Winry was all like, "you know Ed, he doesn't have any friends."

hahaa yes!! I forgot about that part til now! xD she considered Mustang one of his "friends". that was too cute. because it was sort of awkward how she first goes to Mustang looking for Ed, and they're like, "uhhh what are you doing here?" lol

oh yeah, the whole scene with Al and the girl at the end was so cute too. everyone in the theater was cheering like, "yeaaah! go Al!" I think I like the way the movie portrayed Al even more than the original series, at some parts. a lot of times Al was more like a "side character" in the series, whereas in the movie, he really did play an important role. I thought that was neat and great writing.

Yeaaah!!! I was talking to my friend about how Ed's only friends are really mustang and winry

(His bother doesn't count!) Yeah its very cute, I especially love Roy and Ed's relationship! They just love to bother eachother! yet deep down they are still good friends

And yeah, I liked how Al got more time in the spotlight, and I think Julia was a really cool character. Total badass.

mmhmm! when they first released the trailer and poster for the movie, I was really disappointed because she seemed like a total Mary-Sue filler character. but she was a cool character! I was so impressed! haha.
